1. Data Controller
The data controller for personal data processed through the AIVIO platform and this website is AI Vision Institute, operating in partnership with Panlab d.o.o.. Contact: saso@ai-vision.ai.
This policy is drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).
2. What Data We Collect
Website visitors: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) via essential cookies, and analytics data only with your consent.
Trial and demo requests: name, email address, company name, and the content of your message.
Platform clients: business data processed by workflows on your behalf (invoices, contacts, calendar entries, messages). For this data we act as a processor under a signed Data Processing Agreement.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
We process personal data to: respond to enquiries (legitimate interest), deliver contracted services (contract performance), send service communications (contract performance), improve the website (consent), and comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making with legal effect.
4. Where Data Is Stored
All platform data is hosted on servers located in the European Union (Germany). Data does not leave the EU/EEA. Where a sub-processor is engaged (e.g., cloud infrastructure or AI model providers), it is bound by GDPR-compliant data processing terms, listed in our DPA.
5. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for 12 months after the last contact. Client platform data is retained for the duration of the contract and deleted within 30 days of termination, except where law requires longer retention (e.g., invoicing records: 10 years under Slovenian law).
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR Articles 15–22 you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, email saso@ai-vision.ai. We respond within 30 days.
You may lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes are announced to clients by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The date above always reflects the current version.
